A Poem About Clouds

Filed Under (Uncategorized) by Hayley on 28-06-2008

Sculptures of the imagination,
Hanging in the sky,
Floating, flying, flinging onwards,
But staying side by side.
Dancing with the breeze,
Forming shapes at ease,
Almost as though saying;
Come with me, please!
When I look up to the sky,
This is what I see,
I see that this is,
What clouds are to me.

    Very good. You certainly have a talent for writing. I’d like to read more of your work – maybe you should try and post your written ideas more regularly! I know time!!
    Keep it up though as your work is always a joy to read.

    Impressive, the form of the clouds shaped them in my mind, and I loved your words, couldn’t miss reading ONE! I say you did well, and I would also, as Miss Lynne said, read more of this superb writing of yours. You have Poem-Crushing-talent I call it, so you should work at it and practise and maybe even make a book of your own, a poem book? ;)
    I loved the line at the end the most because it expresses your personality and how they seem to you. The way you wrote it, used it, was extraordinary because it makes 100% sense, totally!!
    Such a prefect ending, just… so perfect!! :P
